In most circumstances and most meets, an increment of 25 yards is completely acceptable. However, with many of our younger swimmers, we run small little "Kiddie" meets for them in our smaller pools, which are 10 and 15 yards across. Since I can't use those increments, I'm left with 25 and 50 yard increments. Unfortunately, entering times for those events is not only wrong (since they aren't swimming that far), but it messes up future seeding and entries by best times when they are older swimming in other meets. It's a feature that I'm not sure if it would be widely utilized, but those that did would be grateful for it.
